Our process

Working with homeowners is a particularly enjoyable aspect of what we do; realizing their vision from a napkin sketch, architectural drawings, or working with designers. From crafting heirloom pieces to working with timber from their own backyard, every piece is crafted to a homeowner’s unique specifications with sustainably-sourced materials and non-toxic finishes where possible.

01 INICIAL CONSULTATION

Generally, a meeting in person is not required when the commission of a free-standing piece is undertaken; however, this will always be subject to the complexity and size of your project. We will devote our utmost attention to all your needs, and advise you on the best possible approach for the piece to be crafted. Communication at this stage is crucial; understanding your vision will culminate in the perfect piece.

02 DESIGN

At this stage, based on all the requirements previously discussed, we will create a 3D CAD design. This will illustrate the planned layout and specifications of the project. Further collaboration will then take place with you to finalise the design. After this, an estimate will be sent for approval.

03 CONSTRUCTION

Once you have commissioned us to take on the project, the build will be scheduled in our workshop. After receipt of your deposit and when all preparations are in place, the design is put into production.

Construction times vary depending on the size of the project, materials to be used, and workshop availability. Don't worry; we will have your piece ready as soon as possible, not neglecting the smallest of details.

04 DELIVERY

You will be kept up to date with the progress of the project at all times, and we will contact you to make all the arrangements required seven days before delivering the finished pieces.
